Outcome summary
In-class use of GoogleEarth for investigating the relevant
geographical regions and facilitating student group interaction and
critical inquiry was very successful. Final presentations using
GoogleEarth tours had mixed results. Some presentations were excellent,
with fine coordination of research results and critical methodology.
Others were less detailed and neglected to take advantage of the
multiple scales of analysis and presentation possible with GoogleEarth.
There was some difficulty with saving and retrieving tour files and
folders.
